|Joel Levine is the Chapter Advertising/Public Relations coordinator. Although he recently sold the yellow “experimental” Beechcraft Musketeer, he's considering becoming a "light sport" pilot.|
|Duane Huff is the Young Eagles coordinator for the chapter. A retired educator, he has over 700 individual Young Eagle flights to his credit. A pilot since his youth, he flies an “award winning” Aeronca Chief, which he restored himself. Duane is also an EAA technical counselor.|
Born in Pontiac Michigan and moved to Florida as soon as I could get my parents to go, 1959. Attended Palm Beach Community College for 2 years and in 1965 married my childhood sweetheart Mary Ellen, 50 years and counting (why she chose me I have yet to figure out but I am eternally grateful). I have three children and three grandchildren (you all know my son Jason, he is a member and attends most of the chapter functions). Professionally I invested 26 years in the photographic industry, 9 years in the battery industry, 8 years in a variety of sales management positions and the last 7 years building and growing my own company. I have recently made arrangements for my business partner to buy out my business interest and am currently very busy trying to retire. I do not hold a pilot certificate but I have 30 hrs. of flight instruction and 10 hrs. of solo time and am currently taking ground school toward a sport pilot certificate (looking forward to helping build the RV12). My hobbies are Photography, fishing, reading and airplanes and, I volunteer at Oshkosh 10 days every year during AirVenture, as do my wife and son.
I have been active in sport and corporate aviation my whole adult life. I am married to a pilot, Bob, who shares the same interest but in a different way. He's more about the planes, he has a C140 & C180. I love the people! I ran EAA 1062 at PDK in the 90's. The Young Eagle Rallys and building a replica of the Wright Flier kept us going for a couple years.
I have my own business, Explictly Yours Corporate Travel, that encompasses air charter services and travel agent support. My main love is our two children, Rob and Megan. Ironically they don't share our love of aviation. I might have brought them to one too many aviation events! They each have their own careers now.
I look forward to assisting with the growth of the chapter by finding new and interesting speakers while sharing the talents of our own members at our meetings and
